Post-B’nai Mitzvah Teen Program

Midrasha

Preparing for Confirmation

Midrasha classes for post-B’nai Mitzvah students explore Mussar. Mussar is the study of the 48 middot (values) identified by the Rabbis to help keep our lives in balance. This is an ancient practice that, even today, will help them in their everyday lives as they become Jewish adults. The students work on creating their service where they individually and collectively affirm their commitment to their Jewish faith and ideals. The curriculum also involves the study of the Ten Commandments and other mitzvot
