Adult Jewish Education- Introduction to Judaism
Introduction to Judaism is perfect for those who want to pursue conversion or simply learn more about Judaism in general. The course covers basic introductions to Tanakh, Talmud and the Rabbinic period, diversity in Judaism, festivals and holidays, Shabbat, High Holy Days, prayer, G-d, Judaism in the Middle Ages, family, grief, and anti-Semitism. The content is broad rather than in-depth, providing the adult learner enough to develop interest in various aspects of Judaism. Course materials are included.
